Announcement – The Second LINC School
With the success of the “LINC First School”, we are excited to announce the second LINC school.
The “LINC Second School”, the second of a series of schools, is devoted to the training of PhD students into concepts and techniques suitable for the study of climate and climate processes, from the point of view of complex systems. The second school will focus on climate variability, climate change, nonlinear dynamics, theory of complex networks, networks and climate, nonlinear time series analysis and synchronisation.
The chair of the “LINC Second School” is Prof. Henk A. Dijkstra of Utrecht University, the Netherlands. The School is organised by the Institute of Marine and Atmospheric Research Utrecht (IMAU) and will be held at the Conference Hotel Kontakt der Kontinenten in Soesterberg, the Netherlands, from 21 to 30 April, 2013.
The School is open to anyone interested in the theme. Application deadline is 15th of February, 2013. For more information, please visit the website of the School or to download the flyer.
The “LINC Second School” is part of the Initial Training Network LINC (Learning about Interacting Networks in Climate), a Marie Curie action funded by the European Commission through its 7th Framework programme.
